About
As a Pacific Northwest native and Bainbridge Island local, my passion for women’s fitness ignited during my first pregnancy. I felt discouraged by the lack of knowledgeable support for expectant mothers and recognized that many women shared this frustration. This realization inspired me to create my first coaching business, focused on providing a safe and empathetic space for women to reclaim their strength and autonomy.
Years later, as I entered perimenopause, I once again felt isolated in my experience, with few reliable resources available. This prompted the rebirth of my coaching business: Bainbridge Island Women’s Fitness.
Driven to support women through life’s transitions, I pursued pre-postnatal and perimenopause certifications from Girls Gone Strong. My work emphasizes maternal fitness, offering guidance for women navigating prenatal, postpartum, and menopause health. My goal is to cultivate a nurturing environment where clients feel strong and empowered, focusing on functional fitness and realistic, maintainable goals.
Outside of coaching, I’m an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys leading women on backcountry adventures. I hold wilderness training certifications in first aid, CPR, and AED from Backcountry Medical Guides. I feel truly alive when I’m traveling, listening to live music, engaging in therapeutic writing, and spending quality time with family and friends.
In Health,
Jill
